Our Airedale Daisy with our New Puppy Tilly

New to Croft Cottage Spring 2015: 3 Alpacas - Nora (black), Delilah (appaloosa) and Miss Mouse (Brown).  Nora is pregnant and we are hoping to have a crea born in Spring 2017.

Alpacas are very gentle animals and will be a lovely addition to our smallholding.

In the grounds of Croft Cottage and the lodge there is a volleyball and a badminton net, a netball post, football goal, table tennis and a small climbing frame for up to 8 year olds .   We are very sorry to announce that our old pony Toby passed away peacefully in his stable in September 2013, I am sure that our regular visiters will be very sad about this as they all loved him!  We also have 4 chickens, a Miniature Schnauzer puppy called Tilly and a very friendly Airedale dog called Daisy-May.

It is excellent locally for Walking, cycling and riding in the surrounding New Forest National Park.  Arnis Stable is within walking distance and offers riding directly onto the open forest, it is advisable to book in advance.

We are about 30 minutes drive from wonderful beaches whether  you are looking for the more commercialised beaches of Bournemouth or quieter spots like Hengistbury Head and Highcliffe.
